Wavebuilder: How long have you had waves?
Willie Wilson: I've had waves for a year and 8 months now.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?
WW: I brush 1 to 4 hours a day and wash and style 2 to 3 times a week. Beyond brushing I focus on maintaining my scalp and hair health at its peak level.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?
WW: Favorite brushes are Torino pro, Royalties and og Diane's

WB: What are your favorite wave products?
WW: I'm not specific on any product brand but I prefer all natural products such as moisturizers, butters, and cold pressed oils.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?
WW: When I'm not building waves I love coaching youth football, shooting for sport, and just being a father/ family man.

WB: How do people love about your waves?
WW: I'm not sure what girls love about my waves but my wife loves how healthy they are and how they connect all the way around my head lol.

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?
WW: One thing I would tell new wavers is be patient. Waves don't come over night. It takes consistency and dedication. Soak up as much knowledge as possible and just enjoy the journey. Never judge your progress off another wavers.

WB: How does it feel to be wave king?
WW: It feels great to be a Wave King. With all of the history of great wavers that have won this title Im just honored to be part of it.
