Wavebuilder: How long have you had waves?
IMANI BILAL: December 24, 2018 is when I cut the rest of my hair off, so 2 years now!
WB: What is your wavebuilding method?
IB: My routine is nothing extravagant. I wash and condition 2x a week. H.O.T., D.C. or Clay and Lay when needed. And I do a O.M.B/M.O.B about 2x a week as well.
WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?
IB: I started off using Walmart and 3WP brushes but now I only use Brush King Torino Pro's and Royalty brushes. I usually brush about one or two times a day.
WB: What are your favorite wave products?
IB: Oh man there are so many wave products I use that are so great!! But my absolute favorite may be Royal Hair Care Products!
WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?
IB: Besides waving I love learning new things and challenging myself to grow. I've recently started to back into the gym and I've been on a spiritual journey that has been really enlightening!!
WB: What do people love about your waves?
IB: Girls and guys first reaction on social media and real life is always DAAANNNGG! 🤣 I guess they just like that I have connects and definition 🤷🏿♀️😂.
WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?
IB: My advice to new wavers is know what pattern you want, know where your natural crown is and get to work! Don't be afraid to switch angles, brushes or try different products. Enjoy your journey and embrace every step!
WB: How does it feel to be wave king?
IB: It feels great to be crowned I'm grateful to the whole Wavebuilder team! This is for the squad! ♾️WAVE IMMORTAL♾️
